Community Bank & Trust announced that Janet Taylor has been named vice president and branch manager for the bank’s Clarkesville North office.

Taylor has more than 35 years experience in the banking industry and has worked in various positions prior to joining CBT.

Taylor received her Bachelor in Arts degree from Piedmont College and later completed the Georgia Banking Association school of Banking program.  She completed Leadership Habersham in 2004.  She holds team building facilitator certifications from IBM and Kaset International.

Taylor is a member of the Clarkesville Business Community Association where she served as a past secretary. She enjoys camping, boating, and reading.

Taylor and her husband of 38 years, Jerry, reside in Demorest, Ga. and have two children and three grandchildren.
