GAINESVILLE, GEORGIA—Jeff Fulp, Community Bank & Trust market president, announced today that R. Douglas Patterson, Jr. has been named CBT city executive for Hall county.

“We are pleased to have someone with Doug’s experience lead our Hall County team,” said Fulp. “His knowledge of the market combined with his expertise in commercial lending will be an asset as we grow our presence in Gainesville.”

With 20 years of experience in the banking industry, Patterson has worked with both large regional banks and community banks. He has extensive management experience in commercial lending and credit, with a focus on commercial and industrial lending as well as large asset based lending.

“We could not be more excited to Have Doug on our team,” commented Kurt Hansen, CBT area executive. “He is a 20 year veteran banker with not only strong leadership skills, but also the ability to drive our commercial banking growth initiative in what is a critical market for CBT.”

Patterson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University and attended the Stonier School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania.

An active member of the community, Patterson serves on the finance committee for the United Way of Hall County and serves on the board of directors for Health Partners. He is also a member the Chattahoochee County Club.

A native of Albany, Patterson currently resides in Gainesville. He and his wife Carol have three children and are members of Lakewood Baptist Church.
