Community Bank & Trust Donates Computers to The Toccoa Boys and Girls Club

TOCCOA GEORGIA (February 4, 2014) On February 4, Community Bank & Trust presented computers to the Toccoa Boys and Girls Club.

“We are proud to be a part of such a great organization to provide computers for students,” said Stacy Miller, senior financial services representative, Community Bank & Trust. “The Boys and Girls Club provides much needed services through their After School Program to help the youth of our community succeed in school.”

“Sustaining and supporting academic success is one of the three key pillars of Boys & Girls Clubs programming,” said Cindy Arnold, chief professional officer, Toccoa County Boys & Girls Club. “In the 2012-2013 school year, 98% of the membership progressed to the next grade level on time. We are incredibly grateful for the support Community Bank & Trust is providing our youth by enhancing their pursuit of academic success through the donation of these computers.”

The mission of the Boys and Girls Club is to enable all young people, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The organization believes in providing a safe place for youth to learn and grow, as well as fostering ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals. These life enriching programs and character development experiences create hope and opportunity for youth and young adults in Toccoa.
