For therapists and people who want a deeper understanding of narcissistic abuse and how to overcome it.

People struggling with narcissistic abuse wonder:

✔︎ Does my partner have NPD?
✔︎ Should I tell them they have NPD?
✔︎ Am I a narcissist?
✔︎ Is real change even possible?
✔︎ Am I a narcissist magnet?
✔︎ Does my partner know they’re gaslighting me?
✔︎ Should I cut all ties with a narcissist?

You will learn how people with narcissistic traits think, how to recognize their strategies, interpret their behaviors, understand intermittent reinforcement, defend against gaslighting, and respond effectively.

Covert abuse is nuanced—which can make it especially difficult to deal with.

Narcissistic abuse is often easier to recognize and diagnose when the individual is an overt Narcissist because their behavior is often overt, grandiose, and blatant. But when you're dealing with a covert/vulnerable narcissist, it becomes much more challenging to recognize and identify the abuse because the covert narcissist's strategies are much more insidious and subtle.

Covert abuse is hidden. It utilizes a calculating approach to target people secretly and creates divisions to maintain control. Strategies of covert abuse include gaslighting, triangulation, guilt, confusion, denial, accusations, threats, and reverse victim-offender.

Integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Nonviolent Communication to Treat Survivors of Narcissistic Abuse

This course will show you how to help clients struggling with covert abuse. Whether the client is struggling with a family member, a romantic relationship, or an organization, this course will teach you how to recognize the signs of covert narcissism and guide clients to use empathic confrontation with the narcissist in their lives. You'll learn how to help your clients utilize tools from Nonviolent Communication to set appropriate limits, boundaries, and consequences to protect themselves.

You will gain an understanding of how individuals with NPD think and how to identify the function of their behaviors so that you can predict their next move and respond accordingly. You will learn skills to teach your clients how to respond to covert abuse effectively and strategically.

I appreciated this course! Thanks for making this content available
I’ve been intently studying narcissism for the last 2-3 years. Your webinar is a great addition to what is a challenging area of treatment for mental health professionals. Thank you for bringing this to all of us!
I am a life coach, not a psychologist/psychotherapist, but have run across NPD so often in my coaching practice as a professional career coach as my clients deal with the effects of NPD in their private and professional lives that I find it really important to be able to access the kind of professional level you offer. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
